Studio Policies and Rules
We want our dancers to have a rewarding experience. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, please follow the studio policies.
Hair
Hair is to be neatly pulled back in a ponytail, braid, or bun. Bun required for all ballet classes.
Jewelry
Jewelry is not to be worn in class (stud earrings may be worn).
Food
No food, gum, or beverages are to be brought in the old building. If your class is longer than 1 hour you may bring a water bottle. Please help keep the studio clean.
Class Attire, Shoes, and Class Information
If you are not in your proper dance attire, you will not be allowed to dance. (We do have some extra dance shoes if you happen to forget yours.)
Creative Dance: Tap, ballet, and a little bit of tumbling. Leotard, tights (any color),
white buckle tap & pink leather ballet shoes.
Dance I & II: Tap, ballet, and a little bit of tumbling. Leotard, tights (any color),
black buckle tap & pink leather ballet shoes.
Ballet/Tap I: Black leotard, pink tights, black buckle tap & pink leather ballet shoes.
Ballet/Jazz I: Black leotard, pink tights, tan jazz & pink leather ballet shoes.
Ballet/Tap II: Black leotard, pink tights, black jazz tap & pink leather ballet shoes.
Ballet/Tap III & IV: Black leotard, pink tights, black jazz tap & pink canvas ballet shoes.
Musial Theater I, II & III: Leotard & tights or athletic shorts & sports top. I: tan jazz shoes. II and III: recital shoes will be determined.
Jazz II & III: Black leotard, tights, and tan jazz shoes
Petite, Demi Jazz: Must also be enrolled in Ballet technique class. Leotard & tights or athletic shorts & sports top and jazz shoes.
Jr. & Sr. Jazz: Leotard & tights or athletic shorts & sports top and jazz shoes or barefoot.
Hip Hop I, II, III and IV: Leotard, sweatpants, and clean gym shoes for class. Recital shoes to be determined.
Petite, Demi & Jr./Sr. Tap: Leotard & tights or jazz pants and black jazz tap shoes.
Ballet III & IV: Black leotard, pink tights, and pink canvas ballet shoes.
Petite, Demi and Jr./Sr. Ballet: Black leotard, pink tights, and pink canvas ballet shoes. Hair must be up in a bun.
Demi and Jr./Sr. Pointe: Must also be enrolled in a ballet class. Black leotard, pink convertible tights, and pink Pointe shoes. Hair must be up in a bun.
Contemporary/Lyrical I-II: Must have completed Ballet II or have teacher approval. Must also be enrolled in a ballet class. Black leotard, tan or pink convertible tights.
Contemporary/Lyrical III: Must also be enrolled in a ballet class. Black leotard & tan or pink convertible tights or athletic shorts & sports top.
Advanced Contemporary/Lyrical: Must also be enrolled in a ballet class. Black leotard & tan or pink convertible tights or athletic shorts & sports top.
Modern: Teacher approval required. Black leotard & convertible tights or athletic shorts & sports top and nothing longer than capri pants.
BOYS ATTIRE:
White t-shirt, black pants, and appropriate shoes for class.
NOTE: Athletic shorts are fitted shorts with at least a 3" inseam. Athletic sports top is fitted and can be short or long.
Tuition
Tuition goes into the tuition box in either building. Tuition is due on the first class of each month. If paying by check put dancer's full name and class day/time on check.
Attendance
Regular attendance is the best way to assure success!
